Through my own mom, my two grandmothers, and every aunt who's like a mom, I have witnessed strength, kindness, patience, and wisdom that I will forever be benefitting from. There's nothing quite like the dedication of your minds and souls to seeing the betterment and happiness of someone else—whether in your consciousness or not. I truly hope for you all that every moment of stress or anxiety on our behalves, every added effort towards our realizing the things we strive for in life, every red flag you've blocked and all the other unnoticed things you do will bring results you can be thankful for in the end.

I am not a mother or mother figure myself, but I have grown to appreciate what it means to truly try your best for your child or a person who's like your child. I hope I'm forever thankful for the ones I have.
