Yikes.

Trafalgar Square, London, England.

This is truly gross. There’s simply no excuse for this behavior, and I own my part in this.

Yes, I believe it was Fall 2025 I last showed my face here, but I was experiencing the longest writer's block of my life so far. It was a time of crisis—sort of. If you discount my fictional writing about a skull fracturing fall, a united familial grief, an enraged matriarch, etc., then yes, major writer’s block.

This is not the space for such debauchery. This is for pop culture and other cultural and personal sexiness—both of which I had lost for quite some time. I’m back, however, so you know what that means! Baby Cheech is renewed! We’ll do a quick catch-up and resume regular programming from here on out.

  1. I am Locked IN with my Media Taste Again.

For a while there, I was really worried about my taste, but all is well.

Previous roster: Gossip YouTube (but about Nollywood actors), YouTube Nollywood movies (of course, might as well view the talents from the source

material), and YouTube creator self-funded modern pop girl career dissections.

I can see now that I was struggling.

I am healed, and the current roster is as follows: That Chapter (we’re on YouTube crime now), Long Story Short (2025) (awaiting season 2), catching up on Love Island (the UK and original version, which does not have geographical specifications, obvi), and all the Housewives franchises. Yes, we even ventured out to Melbourne and Sydney.

Speaking of, I started this marathon by deciding to watch the attempt-at-rescue seasons of the New York City franchise—which, if you didn’t know, also ended in disaster—and a new season with a new cast (and some of the rescue cast members) has been announced after much deliberation. Define “Elite Decision Making” using my name in the sentence.

  2. Slight Jacob Elordi Psychosis.

It was Frankenstein (2025). In fact, it was Guillermo Del Toro and Oscar Isaac, I'm sure. Something parasitic happened from Elordi’s end on that set. Then I went and watched The Narrow Road to the Deep North (2025). Usual thirst-watching activities, but it truly broke my heart, so I thought I had started to cook. However, that quickly erased itself.

It was Wuthering Heights (2026). Honestly, this may have been for the best. No amount of spectacular Chanel jackets and clock-it hand gestures can erase what perplexity my brain took in with this film—except Allison Oliver, Hung Chao, and Owen Cooper, and Charli XCX; Go girls, you’re innocent!

  3. RIP Sims 4 Gameplay.

Yes, the day has arrived. Again.

This time, thanks to my sister. She accidentally shattered my gaming PC, and I haven’t had it in me to rescue it. Again, maybe for the best.

While we’re here: Hi Maxis Studios, your software and general gameplay sucked ass. I started to wonder if I was spending money on a life simulation game to be an architect, interior designer, and fashion stylist. Your game ecosystem thrives on user-created gameplay and content mods, so what are we paying you for??? To have horses???

Thank you to the sims custom content and mod creators only for: helping me discover my elite taste in sneakers, helping me figure out how I wanted to furnish my place, and assisting me in creating the most elite homes the world will ever see—except when I repair my PC and re-do everything for the thousandth time because my taste has slightly altered and I downloaded 100 more CC items, but thanks anyways!

  4. Long Live Lola Young and Billie Marten.

Where was I all along? Who knew I had to return to my English roots to find new stellar young women—one even in the mainstream—to Stan. Spectacular stuff.

England is my city. I was in England over the holidays, and tell me why, on the Chewb (tube), I listened longingly as my fellow Brits discussed their Christmas Eve plans, knowing I was leaving that evening. My heart still shatters at the memory.

If any kind folk has an opportunity that may ship me to England (to live for an extended period), do share with me, for I will give anything to return home.

Speaking of home: To my siblings, remember at my place during our little last-minute travel get-together last year, when we stayed up till almost 4 AM watching The Gentlemen but never quite finished? Can we get it together and book some flights again? I want to complete the show, but I am ridden with a sneaking feeling of betrayal every time I make the attempt to.

Ta-ta, but see you all very soon. I promise.
